We would love you to look around our website so you can see for yourself what we are all about. TikTok is littered with alarming DIY dentistry including Clean Magic Eraser to "whiten" teeth and rubber bands to "close" teeth gaps.
The rise of the social media platform TikTok during the past year has led to an increase in do-it-yourself dentistry that dental health professionals are warning against due to the harmful impacts it can have on your mouth. Did you know that there are more than 1,000 types of cheese? Packed with calcium and able to restore enamel, this dairy product is more than just a tasty topping - it can also offer a boost to your dental health.

Services
Here at St Piran Dental we are proud to be have been carrying out high quality private dentistry for a number of years. Our friendly team work closely together to provide a range of dental services to patients, from routine examinations through to advanced digital dentistry solutions for minimally invasive treatments.
We believe it should be easy to access care, and as such are one of the few practices that offer a 30 minute consultation free of charge! Our treatment co-ordinator is Helen. She works closely with Chris to ensure that every patient has the appropriate options for their desired goals. Helen is able to look at the treatment plan from the patient's perspective and make sure it is beneficial to the patient's specific needs.
Our dental practice recommend patients attend regular check-ups, as this can enable our dentists to identify any potential problems at an early stage. Keeping on top of your oral health can help to prevent problems from escalating, which means that you can not only save time and money, but you could also save yourself from unnecessary pain.
For those who do not want anyone to see braces, then we recommend INVISALIGN. These invisible braces, or aligners, are a series of simple clear positioning trays which exerts gentle pressure upon the teeth to guide them into the desired position. When wearing they are almost invisible to see and can even be removed for social occasions if needed.
Teeth whitening is one of the most common forms of cosmetic dentistry. It's becoming increasingly popular as the celebrity culture encourages us all to look our best. The procedure is very popular with patients who have an important event coming up, such as their wedding or a milestone birthday, and the range of treatment options have enabled dentists to provide solutions for patients either within the practice or for use at home.

Just completed a session of four appointments and still have a further two appointments booked I must say the service I received has been really good.
Ok nobody wants to go to any dentist but it's a thing we have to endure to keep our teeth in order and to be honest I have been treated very well by James.
He has a new way of catching the water and debris in a kind of rubber fabric, which stops that awful feeling of gagging on the water going down your throat, which probably won't be accepted by everyone but personally it was worth the slight claustrophobic feeling to stop the seemingly gallons

Went to the hygienist for a clean - and I have really really sensitive teeth. They were very supportive, kept saying well done as I flinched my way through the treatment and changed tools and pressure to try to make it more comfortable. They also recommended different types of toothpaste and made quite an effort to check I knew how to avoid staining my teeth and clean them well. Whilst it’s never going to be something I look forward to, the clean white teeth I saw when I got home was definitely worth it. Stains and plaque gone! I’ve never seen them look that good. Please say thank you to the
