Connections Hair Salon is based in the centre of Cambridge, at 175 Newmarket Road (directly opposite the Travelodge). The team has proudly been cutting hair for the past 20 years. Connections was founded by Zahra an award winning stylist, who qualified from a top Cambridge hair stylist training college, before working for an international salon group, which boasted salons in Cambridge, London and throughout America.
After years of success and experience gathering, she went on to found her own salon; Connections and 20 years later it is still going strong! Zahra has previously been a guest tutor at Cambridge Regional College, training the next generation of hairdressers.

I've been Zahra's client since late 2018 (minus approx 1 year due to lockdown) and I highly recommend her. She's a good listener, puts no pressure on you and confirms decisions with you before cutting. She's very kind. I always feel relaxed there. She has never cancelled and has never been late. I just went back for my first post-lockdown haircut. She is very considerate of guidelines, wears a mask and shield and I noticed she wipes down between clients. I would highly recommend! Had a fab haircut here recently - I couldn't have asked for better. The lady was friendly, wore a mask and visor, and has just one appointment in the salon at a time.
I had a wet cut and we had a chat before she started about what I was looking for. After a first trim she let me see how short my hair was before asking if I wanted to go any shorter. Really happy, I'll definitely be back.

Zahra has been cutting my hair for many years and I can confidently say she is an awesome hairdresser! The best in Cambridge and fantastic company to. I just love this Salon and my visits there, I would heartily recommended her to all

Zahra has a way of cutting my hair which means it grows beautifully. This is why I travel back to her salon whenever I need a cut, even though I now live nearly an hour away. She has been my hairdresser since the early 1990s. She is a lovely cheerful person that really makes time for her customers and makes them feel welcome. Fully recommend.
