Guests travelled to Dundas Castle from Illinois, USA to celebrate Irene's husband's 50th birthday. Susan and her guests travelled to Scotland from Massachusetts in the USA, for the trip of a lifetime. We welcomed the cast and crew of 'Ladies of London' for 3 days and nights of filming at Dundas Castle.

Dundas Castle is situated near South Queensferry, approximately half an hour by car west of the centre of Edinburgh and just south of the Queensferry Crossing. Guests should enter by the main gates of the estate leading from the B800 which runs between South Queensferry and Kirkliston.

Your day - check-in for your overnight guests is from 12noon and check-out is 10.30am the following day. Throughout the planning of your wedding we shall work with you on the timings of your day to ensure that they work perfectly for you and your guests. There are 17 bedrooms for your closest family and friends to enjoy and we will invite you to come to the Castle in advance of your wedding to allocate each room to your guests who are staying.

Every little girl (and some little boys) hope for a fairytale wedding. At Dundas Castle in 2008 I got just that! The wedding of my dreams. Of course the best bit about your wedding is saying your vows to your beloved, and having everyone you love in one room at the same time... But the venue certainly helped!
We had our ceremony in the 15th century building, "The Auld Keep", the oldest part of the castle. The ceremony room is a high-ceilinged stone room decorated with ancient looking tapestries. It is up two sets of narrow spiral stone stairways - not the best if you want to have elderly
