I was contacted by Shropshire Gas and was offered a next day (Saturday 4th December 2021) morning appointed and half price off the boiler service as a gesture of goodwill. I accepted and everything has been completed. Thank you Shropshire Gas for sorting the issue, applying a discount for the hassle and not making me wait another 3 weeks.

Invalidated warranty problem. Shropshire Gas fitted our boiler a couple of years ago, and we had a service plan with them for them to service the boiler annually. Due to COVID, the annual service in 2020 was postponed and then there was a mixup and it wasn't rescheduled. I contacted them this year to arrange a service, I wasn't claiming any warranty repairs. I was told that the warranty is now invalid anyway, due to me not having the boiler serviced. Just had a new boiler installed/conversion, from getting a quote 4 months ago and booking it in just before winter sets in (my choice to wait 4 months as had just purchased my house) the whole process was… faultless the manager come out to quote and was very knowledgeable. I had my quote later that day for 2 different boilers to compare.

I can't speak highly enough about Shropshire Gas. I was impressed with the speed with which a call out was handled about three weeks ago and the excellent phone and email communication with Laura so I signed up for their cover plan - about the same price as British Gas's lowest basic plan but much better cover. My poor elderly and recently widowed mum has had no heating since September! She had no hot water until last week (3 weeks unable to shower or wash clothing) Shropshire Gas have been out 4 times and kept fitting different parts with no success. Mum told today that there’s a blockage and they need to charge her an additional £495 and don’t know when… they can do the job. Disgusted in the very poor service. 4 different engineers who don’t seem to know what they are doing. Are they qualified? I asked to speak to customer services but they don’t have any such person

We have recently had our boiler which we were looking to replace next year fail unexpectedly. Shropshire Gas initially came out on the basis of a repair but taking everything into consideration we asked them to quote for a new boiler. They were here the next morning to survey, we had the quote that afternoon, and the new boiler fitted next day. Fantastic service.

Superb service from Shropshire gas. It was my first time in using their services, and I was not disappointed. The engineer was polite and explained everything in great detail. He also adhered to covid 19 precautions.
