As we move into an increasingly digital world, including the introduction of HMRC's Digital Tax accounts, it is essential to keep on top of your accounting obligations. Online (or 'Cloud') accounting enables businesses to access financial data instantly via desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile phone device anywhere with Wi-Fi connectivity.
Meeting your obligations as an employer can be incredibly daunting especially with the introduction of Real Time Information (RTI). RTI means employers will now share information with HMRC on-or-before payments are made to employees. We keep on top of the legislator changes and use HMRC-approved, RTI-compliant payroll software.
As a firm, we want to protect our clients in case of a HMRC investigation. Whilst we can't guarantee that HMRC will not randomly pick you, we do include Tax Fee Protection Insurance as standard, therefore guaranteeing that you will never have to worry about the hefty accountancy costs that an investigation can incur.
While the overall plan may set strategic goals, these are unlikely to be achieved unless you use SMART objectives or targets, i.e. Whether planning for a small or big change to your business, the advice you receive can be critical to ensuring that you take the appropriate steps, have the best resources and have contingency plans in place.
