The Red Olive was founded in 2001 by Charlie Thellusson. Charlie's dream was to create restaurant quality food twinned with exceptional service. Nearly 20 years later and nothing has changed, in fact Charlie's dreams have only gotten bigger. The company has changed but the underlying idea is still present - "exceed in excellence" every time.
Services
The Red Olive began in 2001 when Charlie was catering for dinner parties and small weddings from the "comfort" of his own home. With a growing business and a growing family (3 blonde haired boys to be precise!) Charlie knew that things needed to change. Red Olive, now based in Derby has 5 full time members of staff, a professional kitchen and a fantastic tasting room.
We have handpicked a selection of our suppliers who offer brilliant service, interesting products and have a "yes" attitude to all ideas, no matter how wacky! Where would we be without you all?! With fantastic customer service, premium quality products and an excellent reputation we could not recommended them enough!

The opening headline can only be SUPERB! We booked Red Olive to take care of the catering for our 10 year anniversary event at Mercia Marina which was to provide high quality reception food, drink and service to more than 200 VIP guests. These ranged from MP's, local Councilors, architects and high profile blue chip businesses.
Red Olive's service was outstanding as they understood the brief and gave expert advice about portions, gave great suggestions on what to serve and made site visits to ensure planning and delivery was on point.
The staff in presentation were amazing and conducted themselves
