At the Bridges we provide full time and part time day care for children from twelve weeks to five years. The first Bridges Nursery was established in 1985, and with over thirty years in business our Directors, Partners, Managers, Supervisors, Practitioners and Support workers have a wealth of experience in providing high quality childcare.
At "The Bridges" we know that leaving your child in the care of others can be a daunting thought. Choosing the best childcare for your family is one of the most important decisions you will have to make. That's why, at our centres, we want to make it as easy and stress free for you as possible. Early years facilities offer advantages for both parents and children.

Services
Each nursery has a modern and highly attractive environment. They are designed, decorated, furnished and equipped to the highest standards and we are confident they offer the most child friendly facilities in this region. The Bridges Nurseries and The Bridges Partnership LLP are fully registered with the Care Inspectorate and work in Partnership with Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Councils.
The Bridges Pre-School Nursery at Arnhall is located at 1 Prospect Place, Westhill. Mrs Lois Duncan, a Director of The Bridges, is our Nursery Manager, she is supported by Mrs Samantha Ross who is our Deputy Manager and has been part of the Bridges team for over 14 years and a group of experienced, well qualified staff.
We have a Baby & Walker Unit at each location, providing childcare for children up to the age of three. We recognise that the first three years of life are an extraordinary time that sets the stage for the years to follow. We use the Pre-Birth to Three positive outcomes and aim to provide our babies and toddlers with a safe and secure environment in which to develop.
Outdoor play is an important part of our curriculum and our play areas have all weather safety play surfaces. These areas are equipped with a variety of equipment and games for exercise and play. While outdoors children have opportunities to participate in physical activities, play in the mud kitchen, plant and grow their own fruit and vegetables and even take part in music sessions in our sensory area.
In order to make things as easy as possible for you and your child when you arrive, it would be helpful if you would bear the following points in mind. Please label garments clearly or you will almost certainly loose some, especially if your child is too young to recognise them. Most people shop in the same stores so there are many duplicates and we will have to spend quite a lot of time tracking down missing items!.

My son went to this nursery for almost a year. Staff are very friendly and caring about kids. My son had a lovely time here although he was only attending 2 days a week. as for the facilities, comparing to the current nursery that we my son goes to, I can confirm that Bridges have good equipment and facility.
