David started out in the construction industry with an apprenticeship for trowel occupation, living and working on a farm in the middle of the countryside. Working for this company for 6 years took David from apprentice to fully mastering all Masonry and all wet trades.
After reaching the level of expert of Masonry, David decided to leave the farm staying close with his previous employer whom he feels indebted too and went out on his own setting up DG Bastin Construction Limited.His first job after setting up was as a mason on the Lyme Regis sea defence project where he carried out general mason works building stone walls and manholes.
