Our Montessori curriculum, which covers and extends the EYFS activities, will help your child reach their full potential in all areas of development. We run our own Forest School in the adjacent Birthday Wood. Our Forest School experience develops confidence, self-esteem and resilience through positive outdoor experiences.
We record your child's progress on the My Montessori Child computer system which has a secure website where you can see photographs and teachers comments about your child's activities. This builds into a report that you can pass to your child's Reception class teacher. We are one of only two accredited Montessori preschools in Orpington.

Our son attends Rushmore House Montessori Pre School and absolutely loves it! We were very apprehensive, following our son's inability to settle at another setting, yet the owner and manager have both been amazingly kind and helpful to us from day one.
As a qualified secondary school teacher, and former Senior School Leader, I completely endorse RH as an Outstanding place of learning, where children from all backgrounds and cultures can thrive and blossom into confident and sociable young children, ready for primary school.
Our son is quite 'lively' and very strong willed, like many three year

We didn't have a good experience at this 'school'. The owners, Cima and Michael, were unfriendly to both parents and seemed overly harsh with the children and the other staff seemed to change from one week to the next probably due to this fact. Our child was never happy there and we had to change to another nursery which was so much better and more welcoming. The owners seemed more concerned with making as much money as possible from their business/school than putting the interests of the kids first. Perhaps not all Montessori's are like this but this one is not a good one. My child's education
