Services
We have a dedicated team of expert towing instructors, with hundreds of successful trailer test passes behind us. Think twice before you buy a 3 or 4 day course, they are just not necessary. With the correct training, it is perfectly realistic to expect you to pass your towing test in between 1 and 2 days, depending on your experience.
Your first choice for C1 licence training which covers lorry and horse box to 7.5 tonne, and ambulance driver training. We've hundreds of successful large vehicle driving test passes behind us. Trust the experts for your C1 driving test. The C1 driving licence covers you to drive vehicles between 3500kgs (3.5t) and 7500kgs (7.5t).
Our expert instructors will guide you through the process from start to end. We'll arrange your medical, complete the DVLA paperwork for you, book your theory test and provide access to high quality learning resources. Then provide a short driving course of between one and two days depending on your driving experience.
We provide a complete fully inclusive service, providing everything you need to get your LGV Class 2 licence. Our All Inclusive lorry driver training means we will organise your drivers medical, provide full theory test support and we'll even take care of your DVLA paperwork for you.

As the area's leading provider of trailer training we are looking for a fully qualified driving instructor to join our team to deliver training to clients from a wide range of backgrounds. Working on a self employed basis from our locations at Weedon, Northants or Banbury, Oxfordshire delivering courses on 2 or 3 days a week.

NearWay have been excellent from the start. Communication was great and there have been no issues, despite the issues posed by Covid. Training from instructors Ian and Neil over the two days was professional, friendly and not patronising in the slightest. Their insight and knowledge helped me pass my C1 first time. I booked a two day trailer training and test having never driven or hooked up a trailer before. The instructor was friendly, professional and very experienced and I gained confidence quickly. When I had problems with my vehicle on the first day of the course Near Way provide me with an alternative vehicle without any problems. As a female driver I have no problems recommending Nearway Driving Training.

I passed my C1 test last week and can honestly say how great everyone at NearWay driving was with helping me get my test booked and passed within a few weeks. From the reception staff to the instructor were very helpful and displayed amazing customer service. They all knew that I needed to get this done to start my career and they did exactly that. My instructor Brendon was very thorough and knowledgeable, throughout the course he gave me so much confidence and always tried to get the best out of me. I could tell that he knew what he was talking about and would critique me to improve my driving

Cannot compliment the service and professionalism enough! After being so nervous was put at ease by my instructors. I needed to pass my C1 in order to start my new career. I contacted Neil who could get me booked in for a course within a week. Neil was very polite and professional and any areas I was under confident in he would keep going over until I was happy. It’s fair to say I was extremely nervous about taking the test but I passed first time and have Neil to thank for that. I’ll definitely be recommending NearWay Driver training to others.
