Coleman & Starkey dental practice was started in 1990 by Mike Coleman, with Mike Starkey becoming a partner in the practice in 2010. Their aim, and that of the entire team, is to provide high quality dental care for the whole family in a friendly and relaxed environment, with an emphasis on making you feel happy and comfortable with us.
We want to be a really good dental practice - perhaps not the biggest or fanciest, but one which offers the type of care that is considered excellent. To maintain these high levels of quality standards, we are one of a handful of dental practices in Wiltshire to be accredited with the British Dental Association Good Practice Gold award, and are Denplan Excel accredited.

Services
Fee-per-item in which a fee is charged for each treatment carried out. We normally ask for payment to be made after each appointment, and a deposit is usually required prior to more complex treatments. We accept cash, cheques and most credit or debit cards. The list of charges below is by no means exhaustive, but hopefully will give an idea of the costs of the more common treatments.
Most problems in the mouth can be avoided or at least minimised by taking a few simple measures. Below is a list of the common problems and the steps required to reduce the possibility of their impact. Remember, regular visits to the dental team at the prescribed intervals will help prevent the onset or worsening of disease.
We have a few spaces in the small car park in front of the practice, which are reserved for patients. There is also free parking on Timbrell street although this does get quite congested in the mornings. Two hours free parking is available at the nearby Sainsburys also. We have modified the building to help accommodate wheelchair users and those with mobility issues.
We are open from 8:30am to 12:30pm and then 13:30pm to 17:30pm during which time it is probably best to phone us on (01225) 753198. We can be contacted by email below. We welcome feedback, so please feel free to mention anything, good or bad, about our service or about this website. We aim to provide a really good service but realise that, on occasions, things don't go as well as expected.

Been with Coleman & Starkey for over a year now. Had a few bad experiences at other dentists locally but my whole experience with the team here has been absolutely fantastic. Really great customer service by reception staff, appointments were quick considering the pandemic & the dentist was really superb and put my mind at ease. Would highly recommend!

Went there in December for my first dentist appointment in quite some time. Thought I'd go private in the hope of good service. The appointment was fine and the x-rays etc. But the promises made about what happens after, for example the 'detailed' report following your appointment didn't materialise. Seems standards have slipped a little of late....given the price you pay.

My wife and I went to the practice for the first time on Monday. After booking an appointment by phone for dental hygiene, we were told that our first appointment ( as it was written on the leaflet received by post ) was a complete oral examination with a written report. We paid quite a lot for the first appointment and we haven't received anything in writing. Today I went back for the dental hygiene ( not a really good organisation during the Covid pandemic ) and, after only 20 minutes, the doctor finished his job. When I went home I checked my teeth and there is still tartar on my teeth. If I
