Henshalls was founded in 1967 and our head office is in the heart of Newport town centre. We also have an office in Shrewsbury to meet an increasing demand for our services in the wider Shropshire area. We are totally committed to supporting the local community and in fact, many of our 35-strong staff live in and around the Newport area.
And we're heavily involved in a wide range of local organisations including charities, chambers of commerce, Round Table, school governing bodies and sports clubs. Henshalls is proud to be a member of the Willis Towers Watson Networks, a partnership between selected independent insurance brokers and Willis Towers Watson, one of the world's leading global brokers.

This service offers a comprehensive business insurance package, designed for a range of trade sectors mainly manufacturing and wholesale. Suitable sectors include woodworkers, plastics and rubber, and technology. Policies provide many sections of cover, allowing business owners to protect most of the risks they face with just one policy.
Buildings all risks cover against damage to buildings, which can include subsidence and terrorism if specifically requested. Loss of rent and alternative accommodation reimbursement of rent payable by tenants following insured loss where rent withheld due to building being unfit for purpose. Length of cover is optional, but usually 12, 24 or 36 months.
Policies designed for office and clerical-based risks for companies such as accountants, solicitors and consultancies - professional indemnity cover should also be considered.
