Jagwa is a teeny tiny salon little bigger than a dairy lea triangle, situated just off a truly terrifying roundabout the people of Brighton know as the seven dials and is acknowledged by many as one of the City's ultimate treatment destinations. Small but perfectly formed, we combine the talent of leading therapists with the finest brands and the most unique environment, to ensure every client has an unforgettable and luxurious experience.
Jagwa is independently owned by therapist, make-up artist and lecturer Tracy Ejuetami who has always firmly believed in encouraging not only women but men into having all kinds of grooming and healing therapies. Treatments include a menu of facials, massages manicure, pedicures. My earliest memory is of standing on the back of a sofa watching my mother "put on her face".

Services
We understand that each individual client has their own specific requirements when having a facial, and each has a differing skin type that will behave in its own unique way. Alternatively, if you need a maintenance treatment that will enhance your everyday regime or impart specialised results to suit your needs, look no further than one of our very own Jagwa signature facials.
Come and have your nails shaped, polished and buffed, and walk out with perfectly manicured hands that will last and last. Acrylics are for clients that want additional nail length. The natural nail is extended by applying tips or an acrylic sculpture to create a naturally perfect looking set of nails.
Please don't see facials as pampering. They are essential to everyone. Just like going to the dental hygienist. You may be looking for total skin rejuvenation or alternative, you need a maintenance treatment that will enhance your everyday regime or import specialised results to suit your needs. If you don't want to leave the salon barefaced or you're going out for a special night out.
Massage has been practised throughout the centuries and is one of the most ancient of the healing arts. Todays busy lifestyles can leave us feeling drained and massage is a great way to re-harmonise the body and mind, leaving you refreshed and relaxed. Stimulates immune system. Rebalance the body and release tensions of everyday stresses and strains.
Just because you are an expectant mum or you have just given birth does not mean that you cannot be pampered. Issues of discomfort in pregnancy such as increasing skin elasticity, nourishing parched skin, relieving itchy bellies, rejuvenating heavy legs, easing tired muscles and tension, assisting circulation and reducing water retention.

This was my first time getting my hair coloured and my first time visiting the salon, and Alero took the time get it perfect for me and gave me loads of styling tips as well as product recommendations. Couldn’t have had a better day at Jagwa and I am obsessed with the results!

As someone who rarely gets their haircut and sees it as a bit of a ‘treat’, I can’t recommend Jagwa enough. I’ve been coming her for eyebrow waxing since moving to Brighton last year and they are brilliant value for money and always shape my eyebrows perfectly. I decided to book a haircut here too and found the experience fantastic. Alero was so knowledgable, efficient and friendly. I left with tips on how to better style my hair and the best products to use. I will be going here again for all future appointments. Thanks so much, Ladies!

I’ve been coming here for about eight years. I even kept coming when I moved away from Brighton for a while! Great value, friendly, local and professional - and great for gossip, support, warmth and friendliness. Tracy and the team and Rupert the dog always make you feel welcome. I’ve really appreciated having a beautician who is also a friend- we even got a blanket hand knitted for our new baby! Highly recommended!

I have been going to Jagwa for manicures and pedicures for over 10 years now. Tracey is an absolute gem. No matter how unusual my nail design requests are she always does a stunning job. I really treasure my time at Jagwa - it’s my way of treating myself and what better way than to do that, having beautiful nail designs whilst having a good old natter and a laugh?! It’s a home away from home - I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Wherever I go people always comment on my nail designs - this week they are black with a gold and red stripe! Go Jagwa!!
