During preparations for her own marriage, Sian was looking for an individual dress, one that would do justice to the significance of such a unique day. With this in mind buying "off the peg" was simply not an option - Sian decided to design her own couture dress, by using her network of suppliers of the finest European laces and silks.
From my very first phone call, my experience with Shimmering Ivory was absolutely perfect, none of the other seven shops i visited could compare! Sian is so lovely and very knowledgeable, she took me through every detail of material options and dress styles to suit my body shape while listening intently to all my ideas.

I needed to get my wedding dress altered 2 days before my wedding. I’m so thankful I found Siân! I shared videos of me in my dress for her to assess. I was incredibly lucky to revive a call letting me know one of her appointments had moved and I could go in the next day (with any wedding alterations services, you usually need to book months in advance!). I went to my appointment, she fitted my garment and advised it would take 2 days. It actually only took 1 day! They managed to complete the alterations early so I wasn’t rushing around the day before my flight - so lovely of them! Siân is

We had my mums dress made here back in June for my sisters wedding. Sian and her team done an amazing job designing and creating this dress for my mum, she loved the colour and design of the dress. My mum felt very glamours on the day. We can't thank you enough!
