Mortemore Mackay's Andrew Hunt was brilliant. With our house sale, he suggested the market could take a higher price than another estate agent had suggested, and the house sold within two days. He guided us expertly through the selling and buying process, with expertise and a refreshing frankness. The photographer did a great job. We're not sure their recommendations for solicitor and surveyor were the best (it's really hard to find good solicitors and surveyors!), but all in all a great experience, and would definitely recommend Mortemore Mackay and Andrew in particular.

We put in an offer of the full asking price for a property, paying cash with no chain on our side, but did not realise the seller was prejudiced and was looking for any excuse not to sell to us. This estate agent dodged our questions and gave us several conflicting excuses (ie they could not contact the seller, she had changed her mind about selling etc - not true as she sold to another family shortly afterwards), a professional one would have informed their client that racial discrimination is illegal.

We have been tenants of Mortimer Mackay for almost three years now and during this time there have been several instances in which their commitment has gone above and beyond the call of duty!
From dealing with a leaking gas pipe in record time to meeting me at my front door at 7am on a Sunday morning because I lost my keys in New York!

Andrew, Olivia and co were both charming and highly professional in selling our house. The mark of a truly good company is how they deal with any difficulties and setbacks.
