Just because you're not a professional photographer, that doesn't stop you from knowing what to look for. Look through the display albums - check that the images in an album are all from the same wedding - this is a good indicator of consistent quality. Check the print quality - most brides wear a pale ivory or white dress.

It took us over 6 months to find our perfect wedding photographer. We our very demanding so we spent months researching photographers. We narrowed it down to 3. From the moment we contacted Howard we were very impressed, he was by a long stretch the most professional out of the 3 we meet. In every respect Howard was head and shoulders above the other photographers. On the day he was simply wonderful, our guests.remarked on how unobtrusive he was. Both myself and hubby are camera shy, and we are very critical when choosing a photographer. After seeing many photographers, we narrowed it down to 3. We decided to use Howard. Howard was not the cheapest, but we were blown away with the quality of photography and his personality. On the day he was amazing, desecrate and not in your face. We had all are photographs 3 days later, they are amazing, Howard captured the day perfectly. We booked Howard for our wedding on 03/09/21. Howard is a nice enough guy and turned up nice and early, we got some really nice pictures from our day but overall we expected a little more…
We booked for up to 8 hours but after 6 he was trying to leave, there was a lull in between the meal and the after do but I don’t feel like he utilised the time well enough, it was one of our Bridesmaids that had to prompt him to take certain photographs which ended up being some of our favourites. The package also contained 1100 images which at first sounds impressive but after looking through them all

We were recommended Howard to be our wedding photographer. He arrived early on the big day which was great and was fantastically quick to send us over all the pictures just 2 days after our wedding!
Howard captured most of what we wanted, including all the main traditional family photos, although we did feel some key moments of the day were missed, things we didn’t think were needed to be requested, such as our first kiss, smashing the glass, and walking back down the aisle with confetti, speech reactions from family/friends, natural shots of the guests at tables, photos of the food, and informal

Howard photographed our wedding on Sunday and did an amazing job! He was so professional and organised, and captured so many lovely photos. He gave us wonderful pictures of the ceremony and throughout the day. They were clear, vibrant and included candid shots of the guests enjoying themselves. He had sent us all the photos by 11pm on the evening of the wedding! We would highly recommend Howard for any event/wedding and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Howard made the photography on our wedding day a laid back and enjoyable experience. We didn't feel rushed or pressured during the formal photos and he was brilliant at being unintrusive whilst taking incidental photos.
The photos he took are beautiful and were available to us so quickly!
All this is for a very reasonable price.
