Family Law covers all sorts of issues connected with the breakdown of personal relationships such as divorce, childcare and ancillary relief. Problems with family can be stressful and can have serious financial implications. At such a difficult time you need the support of a friendly and understanding legal team to help you make the right decisions.
Wains will guide you through the minefield of various laws offering helpful and professional advice along the way. Wains are proficient in expeditious commercial conveyancing and work to obtain the very best possible terms and conditions. Our property department can assist with delicate negotiations and help establish whether or not the purchase includes the premises fixtures, client base, and reputation.
Wains can advise on all aspects of the preparation of Wills including the appointment of Executors. Everyone should make a Will. The consequences of not doing so can be serious for those concerned. You should not assume that the estate will automatically pass to the surviving spouse if someone dies without having made a Will.

He joined Wains straight from university in 1974, going on to open the new Congleton office in 1978 and still continues to represent clients in both towns. This is my third time working with Wains Solicitors. He was initially recommended to me from my stepfather who’s used his services many times before. I’m London based but have used them for conveyancing 5 years ago, upon the purchase of my flat, last month, upon the sale of that flat and now they are my solicitors for the purchase of my next apartment in London. I’ve always had Roger Gough as my solicitor at Wains, with Lisa Bradshaw as the Head of Business Administration who I contact Roger via her. I’m leaving this review as I just typed them in to make a call and saw some bad reviews

Just an updated review to say how disgusted we’ve been with the service we have received from both wains solicitors and there insures.
From the bad conveyancing that RG carried out on our property, and his insurers attitudes towards the claim even though we have written and verbal recorded admissions of guilt.
By RG’s own admission he failed to:
• Check the buyer of our old property had the funds available to purchase our house
• Failed to give us our report on title, resulting in us purchasing a house with covenants and maintenance fee’s attached with no prior knowledge.
• Acted

Wains solicitors, Congleton. And in particular A Mr RG
We made the mistake of choosing wains to do our house conveyancing. This is just a brief summery of RG’s mistakes when carrying out his job:
• Failed to check our buyers had the cash they claimed to buy our old property.
• Acted as solicitor for both parties on our new property for both buyer and seller, causing conflict of interest when problems arose.
• Failed to advise us of a legal covenant on our property prior to purchase.
• Failed to show us our tp1 form advising us of any other restrictions and maintenance costs prior
