The Miricia is an ideally located 11 bedroom family run Guest House accommodation, situated on Scarborough's Castle headland with panoramic sea views across the picturesque North Bay, Scarborough's beach and the Historic Castle. We are within walking distance of both the North and South bay beaches, Scarborough's Castle, Peasholm Park, Open Air Theatre, Cricket Ground, town centre and all of Scarborough's local attractions.

We cater for singles, couples and families with a choice of shared bathroom, private landing bathroom or en-suite rooms, many with spectacular sea views across the North Bay beach. We pride ourselves on a friendly atmosphere and relaxing environment. We offer a sea-view modern contemporary guest lounge and an outdoor seating area for you to sit and enjoy the views.

Access Statement Report

The Miricia Guest House has 11 bedrooms over three floors which are all accessed by a central stair case. Due to the age and design of the building we do not have a lift, however we will try to help as much as possible to accommodate your stay with us. Regrettably if you do find stairs difficult to climb we may not be the accommodation you seek.

Amazing from arrival to leaving. Our room was clean fresh and cosy with an amazing view brekkie was amazing aswell we enjoyed our stay we have booked again for the summer

Very convenient location and friendly owner/staff. Some of the bathrooms are shared between two rooms and some are private depending on which room you book. All of the bathrooms are well kept. The views over North Bay are excellent.

Our time at Miricia Guest House was great! The view from right outside the front door is stunning.
The downsides were that on the top floor, our room was very hot and had only a skylight for a window. Also, the WiFi was unusable there too.
However these were minor things, and we had a lovely stay ☺

Lovely B&B near the castle ruins of Scarborough. Ideally situated between North and South bay. Lovely hosts and accommodation was clean and bright. Breakfast was filling, would stay again

Our third stay here . It's a gem .. ideally situated to walk down to either bay .. clean and well presented with friendly hosts .. superb pub 2 minutes away serving fantastic food .. we will definitely be returning . Thank you

Very lovely warm reception from Jo when we arrived she explained the rules with covid which were very good. The room was decorated beautifully with a lovely shower and importantly for women a dressing table with mirror and socket close by for a hairdryer. Lovely hearty cooked breakfast to start the day yummy. The b&b is in a lovely position in north bay overlooking the sea and close enough to get to south bay too. Had a lovely time but unfortunately had to return home early due to an emergency at home so missed out on two more lovely days. Hopefully can return again. Thank you for your kindness

Room was exactly as expected. Really clean, had everything we needed and the host was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was incredible. The location is perfect. Overall great experience. I would highly recommend this place!
