We let self-catering holiday cottages in Woolacombe, Ilfracombe, Mortehoe, Braunton and Georgeham, and other villages, towns, and hamlets throughout North Devon and have been letting accommodation for holidays in North Devon for over 20 years.

Whether it's an apartment near the beach for surfing holidays in Woolacombe; a lovingly converted dog-friendly cottage in West Down, deep in the North Devon countryside; beautifully restored Victorian cottages in Mortehoe, with views looking out over Grunta Beach and Lundy Island; or a holiday home in Braunton, close to the magnificent Saunton Beach and Braunton Burrows, whatever your requirements are, we will help you find the perfect cottage for your stay in North Devon.
Services
Wendy and Penny of Woolacombe Cottages have run the family business for over 15 years, helping people explore and enjoy North Devon. Woolacombe Cottages HQ is based on their family farm, near Woolacombe, where Penny, at every opportunity, sets off to ride horseback along one of the many bridle paths and byways that crisscross North Devon, or gallop along one of the long sandy beaches.
We have a varied collection of self-catering holiday lets in North Devon for you to choose from, for any occasion, at any time of the year: you may be considering a family holiday in Croyde during the summer, with accommodation close to the beach and other fun things to do for the children; a cozy two bed cottage with a fireplace in Woolacombe, for a romantic winter getaway, with long walks on empty North Devon beaches; or, a group holiday, for example, a stag, or hen do in the charming harbour town of Ilfracombe during autumn, where the holiday home must be large and close to as many pubs as possible!
North Devon uniquely blends the dramatic and the tranquil, inviting you to escape into rural adventures and seaside charm. We've been here for generations! From hideaways to hotspots, our knowledge of the area is unparalleled and we've been generous with it for many a year. North Devon has it all, cliffs, beaches, hills, moors, ancient wooded valleys, vast dune structures, rivers, streams, lakes and the sea.
Looking for a last-minute self-catering break in Devon this Autumn? We still have a small selection of self-catering cottages available here in North Devon, including properties in the popular destinations of Mortehoe & Woolacombe. Our selection of self-catering accommodation below has late availability for September and October, but be quick as we're booking up faster than ever this year!

4 night stay at Wildersmouth Court View Ilfracombe for 3 adults in June 2021. Accommodation spotless and good views but spoilt by the fact that the second bedroom (not shown on advertising literature!) is so small that the 3/4 size bed settee!!!!!!! protrudes into the hallway stopping the door from closing and with no provision for clothes storage!. the large wall mounted TV relies on being connected via wifi only !!! no aerial lead , although the apartment is wired for one. The wifi router , wherever it maybe is totally inadequate not just for watching TV (constant buffering) but also unless you

Highly recommend. Great communication from company owners- very smooth process from initial enquiry to the holiday itself. We are coming to the end of our stay in Seamark in Woolacombe which is just heaven! So clean and well equipped and the views are so amazing that I’m not sure we’ll be able to drag ourselves away at the end of the week! The location is perfect! 5 mins to walk to the beach/village. It’s our first visit to Woolacombe and we absolutely love it! We will definitely be back in the future and would highly recommend this company and the area to all ages.

Just returned from a lovely Christmas stay at The Heatherdale property over Christmas with my family and I wanted to say what a wonderful property it is!
The views, wow stunning especially from the master bedroom with the large windows. The curtains were never closed and we never tired of watching the waves crash against the rocks below and the few shipping tankards' going past in the distance.
Christmas morning in the hot tub as the day began overlooking the sea was a delight.
Everything you'd want within the home from home with sumptuous carpets throughout and towels and bedding too.

Currrently staying at Rock pool woolacombe. Property is exactly as described on websites and totally amazing. Spotless with lovely fresh bedding and towels and ample room for two families . Views are to die for any time of the day, easy access to everything we want or need . Long lovely walk around to mort point today where we were very fortunate to see seals and dolphins. Possibly the best UK holiday ever despite the covid restrictions. Will definitely come again .

Amazing stay in a wondeful place. We have a large family including a 2year old and a newborn so planning a trip with ease was important. Penny was amazing and helped and even made sure there was a cot and highchair. All the details we clear and precise which made planning very easy.
The house was on another level and we were completely blown away with how clean it was and such magnificent views. I highly recommended the company and the costal retreat property.
Thank you and we will be coming again.

Had a fantastic week staying with Woolacombe Cottages at the Surf Escape apartment with some friends. Great location, apartment clean and tidy and usable. Not too cramped with 4 adults and a baby. There is 1 parking space but we had 2 vans and Penny kindly managed to arrange additional parking for us.
Highly recommend using Woolacombe Cottages, very friendly and helpful, 5 stars!!

Have stayed a few times in various cottages. Always clean and as described on website. Unfortunately we weren't able to travel up this May as we had planned due to the current Covid situation. Woolacombe Cottages have gone over and beyond to help up with this matter. The girls in the office are so helpful. Can't thank them enough and look forward to visiting as soon as is safe to do so. Would highly recommend

Amazing stay with Woolacombe cottages, the property was exactly as described, fantastic location and gorgeous views. The team at Woolacombe cottages were on hand throughout our stay to help with restaurant recommendations and activity suggestions - their local knowledge was invaluable! Will certainly be using them to book future Devon trips.
