We are a friendly, 17 bed residential home in a lovely Dorset setting. Ingleside really is a home, with a relaxed atmosphere and genuine respect for our residents. We are blessed with a long-serving team of staff that provide high quality, person-centred care within our homely environment. We offer flexible long-term, palliative, respite and post-operative care.
Our Victorian home comprises 15 bedrooms, split across 2 floors. Each bedroom is equipped as standard with an en-suite W.C. and a hand basin. We encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home.

Washing and dressing can become difficult as a disease like Alzheimer's or other dementias progress. We support the person in a dignified and private approach. However, as dementia progresses and the persons memory deteriorates it is important to identify and note that the person may well require additional support with personnel areas such as washing and dressing themselves.
Trained in moving and handling techniques our care staff can assist with mobility using the correct equipment in a safe and professional manner. Your personalised plan will ensure you receive the correct support for your specific needs, helping you safely by using hoists, wheelchairs and stand aids is a day to day role for our carers.
