The Dental Team was established in South Kensington in the early 1960's, and continues to uphold its reputation of providing the highest quality professional dental care in a friendly and welcoming environment. The Team is continually updating its dental techniques and knowledge to ensure patients receive the latest in oral care and advice.
Neil graduated from the University of Bristol Dental Institute in 2008. After successfully completing Vocational Training in London, he worked as a Senior House Officer in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the prestigious Bart's and the London hospital, London and the Royal United Hospital, in Bath where he perfecting his oral surgery skills.
We have a special relationship with these clinicians and as such have priority access to them if we feel our clients require their expertise. Mahesh qualified in 1975 and soon after began postgraduate training at the highly renowned Eastman's Dental Institute, London. Ever since returning to general practice in 1979 he has dedicated his working life to education and the provision of the highest standards in dentistry.
The Dental Team in South Kensington offers a wide range of straightening treatments for teeth which may be overcrowded, protruding, misaligned, crooked or which have large gaps between them. These kinds of problems may cause issues with speech or eating, or they may cause entirely aesthetic problems that result in lowered confidence.

The Dental Team is more than a lucky find for my mum and me, it’s a true treasure hidden in London. This is how I discovered the crème de la crème Dr Neil Patel and his team based near South Kensington station: I was having a virtual weekend coffee with my highly regarded novel editor, and I spontaneously asked my editor, ‘do you know a good dentist, it’s not easy to find?’ And, surprisingly, my editor had been recommended a dentist, though the respected editor had not yet

I have nothing but positive things to say about my treatment received from Neil and The Dental Team in South Kensington. Two broken teeth from a rugby injury were fixed swiftly and painlessly, with all parts of the process explained fully. The ceiling TV is a nice touch and a fantastic distraction, especially for those nervous of the dentist! I will be returning to Neil for all future check ups and work without hesitation.

Dedicated to your teeth and your wellbeing. The practice is clean, sanitised, and friendly. It has also been refurbished, so the equipment is up to date. You can be soothed by films of coral reefs, and tropical islands, with ambient music in the background. Excellent dentistry and atmosphere. The results are fantastic. Neil is an expert in his field.

Great practice in the heart of Kensington. The staff at the clinic is incredibly kind and try their best to accommodate your needs. I had terrible previous experiences and was very afraid when I first came in but Neil did an amazing job both with my teeth and reassuring me!! My teeth look lovely and white and my front tooth crown is absolutely perfect! Highly recommended

I have had a brilliant time visiting The Dental Team. Dr Sumeet Oberai is an exceptionally talented specialist where he made me feel at ease with all the treatment that I required. Everything was explained to me in a simple, clear manner and I felt I was in the best hands. Truly a 5 Star Experience.

I visited the dental team for a hygienist appointment and was taken care of by Dr Sumeet and his assistant who both went above and beyond my expectations. The treatment was delicate and efficient and Dr. Sumeet took the time to explain what I can do to maintain my oral hygiene, as well as playing music to my request which was a great touch!
