Happy Days moved into our new purpose built preschool building in 2016 on the site of St John's church in Eden Park Beckenham Kent. Happy Days Aims for all children to learn new experiences whilst developing their knowledge using a broad curriculum ready for their transition to their chosen primary school.
All children progress and thrive socially and independently whilst experiencing their learning in a fun, safe and secure environment. We have longstanding teachers who are outstanding in their roles and passionate about their work. They are all qualified and continually/supervised to a high standard.

Happy Days Kindergarten was first introduced to St John's Church over 20 years ago and has been under the management of Jane and John Cannon since 2011. We were kindly asked to purchase Happy Days once the previous owner was approaching retirement. We had already established ourselves in the local community with our successful home childcare business since 2000, so this seemed a natural progression.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old. All schools and Ofsted-registered early years providers must follow the EYFS, including childminders, preschools, nurseries and school reception classes. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework supports an integrated approach to early learning and care.
At Happy Days Kindergarten we maintain the ratio of adults to children that is set through Ofsted Welfare Requirements. These ratios are 1:8 for three year old's and 1:4 for two year old's.
We usually have at least one additional member of staff present, this helps us to give time and attention to each child, talk with the children about their interests and activities, help children to experience and benefit from the activities we provide and allow the children to explore and be adventurous in safety.
