Iberico World Tapas
Iberico World Tapas has been taking the Nottingham restaurant scene by storm for over 13 years with Spanish inspired tapas of rustic simplicity, combined with refined ingredients of world cooking and Asian influence. For over a decade we've won countless awards and accolades across the region and nationwide, from the Nottinghamshire Bar & Restaurant Awards to SquareMeals UK Top 100.

We are the only restaurant in Nottingham awarded with the Bib Gourmand recognition for outstanding dishes and incredible value. Nestled in the heart of the Lace Market, in one of Nottingham's oldest buildings - The Justice Museum, our intimate multi-level restaurant with unique vaulted ceilings offers a relaxed and devoted dining experience for all to enjoy.
Services
We bring together the rustic simplicity of tapas dining with refined ingredients and world flavours. Our dishes come out of the kitchen as and when they are ready, therefore it is advised you order as a group rather than individually. Just ask a member of our team for their assistance on which of our deliciously made tapas will be best for you.
Like with our dishes, we bring world flavours and spirits together into our cocktails to create beverages you've never tasted before. Our award-winning suppliers Gonzalez Byass & Hallgarten Wines have a wine to compliment every palate. Start your meal with a fresh crisp Fino and journey through our dry to the naturally sweet, to finish with a luxurious Pedro Ximenez.
Our restaurant is located beneath the historical National Justice Museum, dating back to the 14th Century. If we have the tablespace and extra seats available to accommodate the additional guests, we welcome them to join you for your meal. However, our tables are usually pre-booked. Therefore, we'd recommend when you make your booking for your table you book for the number of guests joining you.

We love be tapas but had somehow never been to Iberico World Tapas previously. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere- busy, lovely vaulted ceilings etc and staff were friendly. We enjoyed every dish we ordered- and for the amount of food we had it felt good value. I've not given five stars as we finished our drinks early on in the meal and staff didn't return anywhere near our table for more drinks orders/to check food ok etc, which meant we had basically finished eating before we were able to catch someone's eye and order another drink. Just slightly took the edge off what was otherwise a lovely

I would love to give it a 5 stars, the food was amazing and the service even better from the kind attentive staff, but unfortunately my food here gave me severe food poisoning to the point where my family had to call 111 because I couldn’t keep liquids down. This was nearly the worst pain I’ve felt in my life. I have never before had food poisoning but that’s what the doctor said was the cause. We have come to the conclusion that it most likely would have been the beef or the fish as those are the two dishes my partner hadn’t eaten and I had. Such a shame.

Had a anniversary dinner with my partner in the only one Michelin bib Gourmand restaurant in Nottingham.
The service was warm and welcoming.
Food was with expected high quality and presentation as shown in photo
The pork belly and steak was my favorite
Pork belly coming with spicy sauce
Steak with miso egg yolk was a good choice too
We spend £72 in total for 2pp
7 tapas, 2 port, 1 dessert
Would come back again and try the other dishes.

Really delicious tapas restaurant, the nearest thing Nottingham has to the excellent Barrafina. We visited for an evening meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. We skipped bread and nibbles and went straight for the tapas, ordering six between us which was just the right amount. The pork belly in spicy sauce was great, as was the kale with ajoblanco and the peppers stuffed with spinach. Desserts and wine were really good too and for just over £80 for the lot it was pretty good value. This was our first visit to Iberico World Tapas but hopefully it won't be our last.

Fantastic restaurant, experience and food. The dishes were served as they were ready rather than waiting for all, which is fantastic for tapas. The quality of the food and of the ingredients was noticeably excellent. I would absolutely go again and would recommend. It was the best tapas I have ever been served (both in quality and the experience) either in the UK or in Spain.

This place was recommended by a friend who is a local, and when we arrived here we saw the Michelin Guide sticker at the door so we were 100% sure this was gonna be good!
The food did not disappoint, the tapas were delicious, we had the Cod, the tuna carpaccio and two delicious and refreshing cocktails with limoncello and coconut rum and parsley, mint, lime etc. the service was very good and fast.
We will definitely come here again!

Finally, great food in England! Yay! I've been away for a while and this was my first time tasting the delicious and well thought out menu at Iberico. I wanted to take my sisters out for a special meal and I'm pretty chuffed with myself for discovering this little gem. So let's get down to it. The atmosphere is just what I was hoping for, lively but not packed. Situated in a cave, it's cozy and historic without feeling cold or suffocating. The service was great. The sourdough bread. Wow. Seriously fantastic. The beef was just mouthwatering and the peppers were delicious! The

Wonderful tapas. We also go to sister restaurant Bar Iberico, and I do think there's not much between them now, where World Iberico was elevated. One thing Bar Iberico does need to do which WI still does, is use balsamic glaze again. It makes the bread much better. If you're visiting, the Catalan Bread and inside out wings are a must!

Went for Valentine's Day and we were booked in for the 9.30 sorting, but we were the only ones so the place was empty as we left. Service was great, food was a little bland, especially the veggy versions of things.
There were 2 drunk women making fools of themselves and instead of doing anything, the staff just stood at the bar loudly talking about them.
It was ok, but I prefer their other restaurant for an authentic Spanish experience.

We tried to book online but were told there were no tables available however we went in as we were passing and they had plenty of space! guess they don't want to pay fees to booking sites!

The food was good value and quite tasty. This is a tapas fusion of Spanish and Japanese that kind of works. The stand out dishes for is were the inside out chicken wings and the salmon. Other dishes were ok but had better.

It's now my favourite restaurant in Derby, if not the country. I consider myself a foodie. Everything that came out of that kitchen was the best it could be. At last something to give Spanish food a good name. Good and bad Spanish food are worlds apart. They are all simple flavours but when they are average I'd give them a 0 because it is simply boring. This place gets a 10 out of 10 for everything.

I was dressed a bit riffy mainly because it was an impromptu visit. I felt a little out of place as everyone was dressed quite well, but the staff did all they could to make me feel

The Iberico is just an outstanding restaurant. The food is really exceptional - the stuffed peppers with goats cheese and honey is one of my favourites, as is the beef with pickled mooli and quails eggs. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, the service is attentive but not intrusive, the decor is unfussy but warm. Even the location is good - rather than being bang in the centre, it's underneath the spooky Galleries of Justice. It's not cheap, but it's not ridiculously pricey either - you can spend as much at a big chain restaurant and not get anything like the quality, or anything

Can't believe I'm only the second one to review this brilliant little tapas restaurant. Forget the big chain tapas bars and get yourself under the Galleries of Justice to enjoy this almost hidden away and unique reataurant. The tapas is superb, imaginative and mouth watering - the service is equally as good as well. As the other reviewer says its not cheap but you will have a memorable and certainly not run of the mill meal. A tip try the poached duck egg on a bed of mushrooms it's to die for.

Authentic tapas, better in a group to enable you to order both cheese and meat platters. Attentive service, be prepared to pay £30 to £40 a head incl. wine.
