We have recently gotten a mortgage with broker Bernie Hughes of Melville Independent. I cannot speak highly enough about the service we got from Bernie. As two self-employed people trying to let an additional property, our case was not straightforward. But Bernie got down to the detail, anticipated the lenders' questions, was hugely proactive in ensuring that all information was compiled well in advance and personally dealt with lenders. If the service in the rest of Melville Independent is as good as this, and I'm sure it is, then they should be a first choice for any financial dealings.
