Hi I'm Cris, a Wedding Photographer based in Shropshire. I have over 10 years experience capturing stunning weddings all over Mid-Wales, Cheshire, Staffordshire, North and Mid Wales, Wirral, Manchester and of course Shropshire. I started my life as a photographer living in Yorkshire, I still have family there and regularly return for both work and pleasure.

I'm a Wedding Photographer! But it's not as simple as all that, if you'd like to get to know me a little better then you have come to the right place. 2019 is my 10th year working for myself as a full-time Professional Wedding Photographer. It's been the most rewarding 10 years of my life (so far!) and I look to forward many more years doing what I love.
2019 represents my 10th season working for myself as a Wedding Photographer. It was a massive step to take from a reasonably successful career into the unknown, especially with the financial crash happening all around me. But I've been lucky enough to go on to photograph some amazing people in some amazing places.
Whatever they might tell you, blokes love having their picture taken. And here is the evidence. I always take 5 minutes during the wedding to make sure the Groom takes centre stage. I normally work alone, and choose to capture the many details of the Bride's preparations as a priority, but the Groom and his Groomsmen always have intersting details to capture.
Amazing pictures of the happy couple together is an essential part of my wedding photography. Sometimes I catch them off guard and get the perfect shot, other times we go for a short walk in amongst an amazing setting and the magic just happens. No matter what time of year or what the weather is doing getting out there and getting these shots is certainly one of my favourite parts of the day.
Weddings are all about people. How often do we have all our important people together in one room? Not often enough! Most of the wedding day I spend observing everything around me and capturing people's emotions as they happen. You just can't get this kind of shot if you set them up. Photographing people at a wedding is a fantastic challenge, both creatively and physically.
