Hi, I'm Simon, a candid wedding photographer (shutterbug) working in the Manchester region and UK, I live in Hyde in Tameside Greater Manchester. Ive added a few of my personal photos from when I'm not shooting weddings. In a nutshell, I just love candid natural photography, Steam trains, taking my son Matthew to play or practice cricket, and of course taking photos of my beautiful daughter Grace.
Documentary wedding photography from Manchester is an art and is here in front of your eyes on my Manchester featured wedding page. All delivered back to my couples as a high-resolution J peg image in high-contrast black and white or full colour. Most importantly long after the ink of your marriage certificate has dried, my documentary style photography will be there to share with your children and your children's children.
The standard photography starts around 2/3 hours before the ceremony; this is usually plenty of time to take some nice relaxed images of your bridal preparations with your bridesmaids and family - all of course natural and unposed. I will then photograph (often discreetly) working in the background taking natural, candid imagery as your day unfolds.
