We started out as a mother and daughter team, Julie (the Mum) started life in the black tie dress hire business, moving on to 10 years experience in a bridal shop, she's so passionate about achieving the perfect look for our brides and more often than not becomes a second Mum to many- our Brides love to come in and have a chat with her and she never says no to a cuddle!

Our Everybody/Everybride collection by talented designer Stella York are the same amazing designs as their wedding dress collection but available to try in sizes 18 to 28. A selection of the stunning plus size collection we have available to try is shown below with plenty more in store! The perfect combination of feminine details and gorgeous glamour, this boho wedding dress is such a unique statement!

My appointment with Jess was a fantastic experience. The boutique itself is lovely and private and has a great selection of dresses without being too overwhelming. As soon as we arrived we were offered fizz and made to feel welcome. Jess was wonderful: she had taken a look through my pre-appointment form and had some initial suggestions for dresses to try on based on my answers and was so helpful throughout.

I had the most fabulous time finding my wedding dress here. Lucy is just so lovely and was so helpful in picking out dresses to try, getting them on just right and helping me narrow down my decision, being so so patient until I was 100% settled on "the one"! I'm so happy with my choice and cannot wait to receive my dress! Lucy and her fabulous shop made the whole process a dream!

Brides of Berkhamsted have the most beautiful array of bridal gowns, that will certainly build excitement around finding the perfect dress. I found my dress with Lucy at Brides of Berkhamsted almost 2 years ago and finally got to wear it down the aisle this summer. I was so thrilled with it and I’m gutted to not be able to wear it again!! Lucy was beyond helpful and welcoming and the team put me at ease completely. Absolutely brilliant, personalised experience. Carol was really lovely and patient. She had picked out some styles that matched what I was looking for and also dresses that would compliment the venue. Everyone was very accommodating and made me feel at ease - my 3 year old niece was extremely satisfied with her packet of goodies! Thank you so much for your help in picking out my wedding dress - can't wait to wear it on my wedding day!!!

My first visit to Brides of Berkhamsted was the first time I felt like a bride. From the minute I walked in the ladies made me feel so comfortable and before I arrived they had taken the time to look up my venue as it was a new one for them being in Scotland! As they selected dresses for me to try they asked questions about my future husband, lifestyle, interests and made sure the dresses were comfortable for me. They listened carefully the whole time. They had wonderful ideas for small adjustments/ enhancements/ accessories I could choose or make to personalise the dress and let me come back for

Today I visited brides of berkhamsted for my first dress shopping. Can honestly say it was one of the best days I have ever had. All the staff where so welcoming as soon as we stepped through the door, refreshments offered immediately and the best advice given. carol was amazing and one of the most loveliest lady’s I have ever met. Could not recommend this store enough, they are utterly amazing. Amazing experience for a bride to be💖

I cannot recommend Brides of Berko enough! Right from my initial enquiry email they were so helpful and friendly which gave me such a good feeling about them as a company and made me feel so excited for my appointment.

What can I say… from the moment I stepped into BOB I felt welcomed, excited and like the only bride to be in the world! Jess helped me choose my dress, I chose something I hadn’t imagined I’d wear but I fell in love with it and felt amazing.
Unfortunately, COVID hit and our wedding was postponed twice. Lucy, I will never forget how kind you were calling to check in and reassuring me about the situation. You kept me excited by updating me on when my dress will be arriving and keeping my spirits up when your business had taken such a hit.
