Born in Dingwall, James trained as a Chartered Accountant in Glasgow with a big 4 firm and qualified in 1983. After spells working in practice, industry and financial services he moved home with his young family and set up the practice in the early 1990s. Evelyn qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1978 and after working in accountancy and audit in national and local government she joined the practice in 1998.
