There is a silent but deadly epidemic of burglary sweeping across the UK. The great majority of homes in Britain now have uPVC doors. The trouble is that most of these doors are NOT secure. Burglaries are on the increase again, and uPVC doors are being targeted because thieves have learned a few new tricks, allowing them to get into a vast number of properties in a couple of seconds.
Boarding up windows with timber is still the fastest way to secure a property following damage by accident, vandalism, or fire. Boarding up the property with wooden boarding provides the cheapest solution for immediate security. Although not as secure as steel boarding, timber security boards provide a solid deterrent to would-be squatters on the lookout for vacant properties.

Chris was recommended by a friend after having impressed him on a window repair. Chris visited on the agreed date and time, fixed the 2 windows which were letting in draft by changing faulty hinges and locks at a reasonable price. Chris did such a excellent job, I called him again a few days later to change the lock on the main door. Will definitely use Chris again!
