The Jambo Charitable Trust was formed in 2009 to support two villages in Tanzania. A group from our company travelled over to Tanzania to help build a classroom for one of the villages, and our continued support since that time has built a further two classrooms. In 2012 our work in these villages was brought to a halt as the Tanzanian Government changed the volunteer visa requirements.

We recently hired one teacher who was passed forward through agency. Although I'm very pleased with the appointment, I have to say both myself and the teacher found the way it was handled disappointing. I very nearly passed on offering an interview based on the way it was pushed on me. Luckily I was able to speak to the candidate on the phone, as… the agency had been pushing both of us to do an interview before either of us was ready for it. I'm very pleased with the teacher we have hired, but not thrilled with the way it was handled.

In 10yrs teaching I had never experienced networking with an agency of any form . I had always wanted to experience teaching in Europe and Jambo Ltd provided this opportunity. My main contact was Andrea Seaton. Supportive and professional in every sense. Every question, every detail (from job to finding a home) was supported. What I appreciated… the most was the personal/individual attention I received, even out of hours and on weekends. Useless people. I was never employed by them.
They miss called me today (6 October 2017), they did not leave any voicemails etc. I called back (after Googling the number - incase it was one of them "scam" phone numbers that needs to be blocked etc) and the person who answered, I had to tell her (I didn't quite catch her name) one of her colleagues missed called me and left no messages and I had to tell her, at least 10 times, that I currently work as a chef and she kept telling me and insisting that I currently work as a Catering Assistant (Catering Assistant is the step below a chef where you

Stay away from them, they spam you with many teachers' profiles. You cannot unsubscribe them. Do not put your name anywhere with them as you cannot get rid of them. I will never employ any teacher that came to me through Jambo Recruitment.
I just saw Emma's reply. I guess she does not want to acknowledge that my facebook email is not my work email. I got 54 emails in 3 weeks at that time, but it stopped after my facebook complaint. I never phoned a Dee either, no idea who that is. Emma obviously lives in her own reality.
