We are are an intimate family run business, taking care of Local, National and European domestic removals. We offer a complete removal service which can include packing, moving and unpacking, depending on the needs of their clients. Purdy's feel that the initial meeting is not just a matter of fact thing to find out how much the move will cost, but an opportunity to meet the man who will be taking complete responsibilty of your worldly goods. Graham is there to answer all the questions that you may have, and he usually manages to re-assure the client and ease some of the obvious stress which goes with a house move.
Bubble & Box is run by Mrs Susan Purdy. Every packing project is organised and overseen by Sue, an expert in protective packaging.
Sue and her team will visit you the day before your move, and their task will be to empty and package the entire contents of your wardrobes (all hanging garments will go into wardrobe cartons or onto hanging rails) drawers, cupboards, cabinets, cubby holes etc. and to protect where necessary your crockery/china, glass/crystal, lamps, shades, vases, ornaments, mirrors, framed pictures and paintings etc.

If you require storage, whether for a week, a month or two or even a year or more, Purdy's can take care of your needs. Although we do not have have our own storage units, we are on the recommended list of The Big Yellow Storage company in Sutton. This enables us to obtain preferable rates for our clients.

We needed a removal company at short notice, and Joe at Purdy's was super fast, quick to provide a quote, and made everything seem easy. Their quote was also very competitive for both packing and removals.
So we used them for both in the end. Their packing team turned up the day before. Arrived late but that's OK, because they kept us informed and we knew they would finish it all off the next day with the rest of the removals team.
Moving day itself was exceptionally smooth - everyone turned up on time, polite, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure that everything was packed well,

Site visit for survey arranged, Joe attended and promised the quotation within the next 2 days..
3 weeks later and 2 further promises and still nothing received. Unfortunately if a company cannot be relied upon to provide a quotation when promised it does not fill me with any confidence on their reliability with regards to a house move with the importance of ours.
I have taken my business elsewhere which is unfortunate as I had heard good things about them.

Purdys of cheam were excellent right from the start.
Wonderful team, well organised and exceptionally friendly.
We chose the packing service also and the ladies that came to pack were brilliant and really fun.
The lads that came to remove the following day were also just as friendly and fun. Lots of laughs had making a fairly stressful time really easy for us.
We Would 100% use them again!!

We used Purdys of Cheam, a family owned company for move within Sutton in March 2021. Joe and his entire team are fantastic. Carla and her packers team came right on time and packed everything with utmost professionalism and efficiency. They were always smiling, friendly and super patient. Their calm attitude gave me confidence and I was so relaxed as everything was done on time. The ladies are lovely and chatty and do offer loads of tips for the day. We used Purdy's of Cheam for a move within Cheam in February 2021.
Carla and her team arrived promptly the day before the move and spent the entire day carefully packing the entire contents of our family home. We had a lot of delicate dining items and each one was wrapped with great care and we have had no breakages! The team were all very friendly and professional and I would highly recommend their packing service to minimise stress to almost zero during a big move.
On the move day five strong men arrived first thing in the morning and worked tirelessly for 5 straight hours to load two large
