My name is Peter McNulty and I have been involved in the financial planning industry since 1991. I started out as an adviser with Legal and General and worked for a number of large companies including Standard Life, HSBC, Towry and AWD Chase de Vere, predominantly in management roles since the mid 90s.
Our belief is that by helping you understand your goals, aspirations and attitude to risk, you become more confident and empowered. And by having a plan that you can relate to and the ability to check its progress at any time, you feel even more in control. Before any financial strategies can be recommended, we seek to fully understand your situation.
Adhering to the PFS's continuing professional development requirements, ensuring our knowledge and skill-set are kept up-to-date. A Chartered title is a commitment to an overall standard of customer excellence and professionalism. Introduced in 2006, the individual 'Chartered Financial Planner' title is regarded as the premier title for financial advice professionals.
We see the creation of a lifetime cash flow forecast, as the foundation of any financial planning exercise. It provides a series of forecasts, taking in to account a variety of "what if" scenarios, that is intended to allow our clients to know if they have made enough provision already or need to take further steps towards meeting their financial goals.
There is significant evidence that suggests investing in stock market investments will provide higher returns than cash. However, to be able to achieve these additional returns, it is important to invest for the longer term. By longer term, we typically mean a minimum of five years, although there is no definitive guarantee of how long you need to invest to beat cash returns.

I have had the privilege of sourcing Peter McNulty (IFA)'s knowledge for team members, on two occasions to date. I received positive feedback on both occasions, both stated that Peter provided current and impartial advice that he was highly knowledgeable regarding finance options and implications.
On a person note, Peter has recently donated some quality items to both our learning centre and to a local homeless charity - I know that both were very much appreciated. I believe this reflects Peter's ethical nature!
