We can't pay a bigger compliment to Haven Crest than to say that we will come back and in addition would happily recommend to friends and family. Spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast and very pleasant owners. Everything you could need. We hope that you are very successful, thankyou. Accommodation, Cleanliness, Food and Service were all excellent.
Great location overlooking the sea, with lots of walking opportunities and a very good pub nearby offering a wide range of food to supplement the excellent breakfast supplied by the Haven. Haven crest gave us a warm welcome and made our stay very pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable and the full English breakfast was faultless.

This handsome 17th century harbourside house is where the great explorer, James Cook, came to serve his apprenticeship in Whitby in the year 1746. It belonged to Cook's master, the Quaker ship owner, Captain John Walker. When the young Cook was not at sea, he lodged here in the attic with Walker's 'other family' of apprentices.

We stayed at this exceptional guest house at the beginning of September. WOW! What a superb place which is located in a quiet residential street and within walking distance of the centre of Whitby. It was really clean and comfortable and the owners, Chris and Faye were excellent hosts. The breakfast was fantastic. I cannot praise this place highly enough. We shall definitely return. Thank you!

Nice little abode in a quiet corner. Not too far from town centre but still away from all the noise and crowd. We got a sea view room. A min walk from the beach coast. Rooms were really clean, maintained. Breakfast was really good. Fabulous host Chris and Faye. Great people. It was so nice of Chris to give us drop to the station. Def looking forward for a second stay when in Whitby. A big thumbs up 👍🏻

My friend and I have just got home from a weekend here. We can't fault the place! Chris and fay are excellent hosts and can't do enough for you, they recommended excellent restaurants .The bedrooms are everything you need and extremely clean. The position of the house is in a quiet area, but in a position that means you can walk to both whitby centre and Sandsend for the lovely beach area. We can't speak highly enough of the place and its hosts, and we hope to return soon. 😃

Amazing service and hospitality all around. Chris and his wife are the most genuine, accommodating, people loving, happy people i've met! They are incredible welcoming and immediately make you feel relaxed and right at home! We showed up with an extra person and they made up an extra bed in no time! The breakfast is hand made fresh from locally sourced food-they even use eggs from their own chickens!! The stay was great. Make sure to ask how the heat in the shower works upon arrival. That was a little confusing . Overall an amazing place. we will definitely be back!! Really great getting to know
