Marinated in yogurt, lemon juice, fresh ginger, coriander, green herbs and garam massalla. Served with salad & mint sauce. Served with Naan. Marinated in chefs own special herbs and spice, prepared with crushed organic nigella seeds, citrus lime juice, fresh ginger, coriander and garam masala. Best Indian I've ever had! Starters, sides, mains everything is so tasty. The young man that got our bill was great, wish id got his name, but he was kind enough to give us a free cider, after we purchased one of their special mango and lime ciders.
Perfect food and relaxed atmosphere. Great all round evening, thank you.

I booked a table online for my husbands birthday. On arrival we didn't receive a very warm welcome, we said we had a table booked and he went to look in the reservation book only to see our reservation was not in the book. After making us feel awkward I showed him my phone with the reservation email. Only then did he sit us at a table.(it was 7pm and not busy!) We waited 20 minutes to be offered drinks and when they arrived we ordered a few pappadums. When those arrived with only 3 dips which only had chunky onions that looked like they'd just been topped up, lime pickle and the very thin chutney

While traveling on business I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant. It was within walking distance of the hotel I was staying at which made it all the more attractive.
Service was excellent and the food was good. I live in the States and for some reason my wife and I don't typically go to Indian restaurants however that may change based on my recent experience at Asha Tandorri.
I hope to visit this restaurant again when returning to the Newark England area.
