A very comfortable place. Quick service. Good seats outside when it is summer. Very good beer, including Amstel. Pity you can only pay on a card, no cash.

Really enjoyed our lunch. Lovely burgers and desserts. Am disabled so came because they have a disabled loo. Facilities excellent and spotlessly clean. Lovely friendly staff. Will visit again. Not cheap but freshly prepared food. Worth it.

One of my favourite pubs. Lovely staff and a great range of drinks. Perfect to sit outside in the sun, or in the homely barn on cold days. Couldn't recommend more.

I had the steak and chips and it was just fabulous. The chips were crispy, exactly how I like them and the medium steak was perfect. My husband had the chicken Kiev and he said that was lovely too. Despite other reviews we were served quickly even though it was Saturday evening so overall definitely deserves 5 stars.

Outdoors lunch on Monday, taking advantage of the unexpected sun treat this Autumn. I enjoyed the vegan option of burger & chips, one of my friends ordered a beef burger which he liked but my other lunch companion had the fish dish which was warmish on a bed of very cold salad and so did not go down so well. The service was prompt and pleasant, the bill included 12.5% service charge which I thought was fair.

Lovely Sunday roasts. Generous portions, well prepared. Staff are super helpful, were efficient and on hand without rushing us and genuinely seemed interested in ensuring you had a good meal. I really like the open kitchen element

Nice pub. Excellent food, once it arrived. Lovely atmosphere. Only negative is we waited over 40 minutes to be served! And other customers were served before us!! Manager/staff weren't bothered when we pointed this out and no apologies given.

If you’re willing to wait in the cold and be ignored by waiters, go here!
First of all, I’m giving two stars as the food was delicious. However when you rate a restaurant, you don’t only take in account the food but also the experience.
When we first arrived, they gave us a table that was too small for the six of us. We changed table but it was quite filthy. We had to ask for them to clean it. I also don’t understand why there are no heaters. We were extremely cold. I noticed that those who didn’t a book a table had heaters near their tables.
Lastly, the service was awful. We arrived

Lovely Sunday lunch - booked a takeaway and slot for 90 mins. Sunday was shining so umbrella and heater not needed but good to know they have them.
