Established in 1977, Balguard Engineering is still run by its founding directors. Their focus on quality, service and reliability has enabled us to become one of the UK's leading architectural metalworking companies. From our 45,000 square foot manufacturing centre, just north of London, we design, fabricate and install a wide range of architectural metalwork such as balconies, balustrades, railings and staircases.
We specialise in designing, manufacturing and installing bespoke, high quality metalwork features including balconies, balustrades, staircases, railings, walkways and canopies. All of which are designed, manufactured and finished in house, delivered to site and installed by our highly skilled installation teams.
We've been offering a wide range of choice in balcony design and manufacture for over 40 years. All of our balconies are built in-house and installed by our experienced team of installers. Balconies are perfect for creating additional floor space and increasing the functionality of a building. There are many different types of balcony, ranging from traditional, ornate constructions to minimalist, modern designs.
Balguard Engineering can manufacture and install bespoke balustrades or incorporate them into the overall balcony or staircase design. They can be built with solid walls, bars or structural glass to enhance the appearance of buildings. We have been manufacturing and installing bespoke balustrades for over 40 years and our balustrade systems are found in residential and commercial buildings throughout the UK.

Just wanted to share that one of your drivers - who still represents your company - is a rude individual. There was heavy traffic by the roundabout going down Porz avenue around 4.25pm, and I was edging forward to get into the lane, then a BALGUARD van came along, he didn't let me pass which was completely fine, but as he drove past he stuck his middle finger up at me. He was wearing a hoody over his head, and appeared to be a slim Caucasian guy. The driving licence plate was L77 BAL. Just found that really rude and unnecessary, especially when driving a company car. Just gives a really bad image
