Services
Our family of schools places young people, families and communities at the heart of everything we do. We are a true community with shared responsibility and common core values which create a culture of collaboration, opportunity, respect and innovation. We inspire excellence and believe in nurturing the abilities of all within our schools and communities.
We are delighted to welcome you and your family to Marton Primary Academy & Nursery's website and introduce you to our fabulous school. If your child is to join us for the first time we welcome you as parents and hope that you will soon feel part of our friendly and caring school community. If you already have a child here, we look forward to continuing the partnership between us.
A daily breakfast is provided free of charge for every child. Our Learning Council was consulted over the menu and from the choices given has chosen a daily menu of: fruit juice, a piece of fresh fruit and either a bagel, piece of malt loaf or a cereal bar (alternating daily over the week). Freshly cooked school meals are available daily, offering a choice of healthy menus.
We are proud of our school and want all our children to feel a strong sense of belonging to our school community. We believe that wearing uniform helps us to achieve this. We encourage children to maintain high standards of appearance at all times and expect school uniform to be worn. Kit should be kept in a named draw string bag at school through the week and returned home at weekends or holidays for washing.
Our Out of School Group offers high quality before and after school wrap around care. It is run by our supervisor, Mrs Sue Shaw and her team of qualified and experienced staff. All children attending our school and our nursery are eligible to join our Out of School Group. Our group it very popular and parents/carers are advised to book in advance to ensure a place is secure.

Two of my children have many disabilities and health problems. They’ve been to many schools and many have struggled with their behaviour and how to cope with them. Well my children joined this school last year and my oldest was on set to fail his sats when he joined and when leaving this year he passed his sats. They worked so hard with him and… they continue to try new things and work very hard with my other child. I have great communication with this school like no other and I can’t thank them enough for just how caring and hard working they are with all the children not just
