We are a Blackpool based Taxi service, serving Blackpool and the Fylde coast areas. We have an extensive, well cared for and maintained fleet that offers the power of an App for your convenience. Our Taxi service has been around for many years. In fact, we are one of the oldest taxi cab services in England, founded in 1880 and still going strong in 2019!
From our horse and buggy days, we have grown into a modern style fleet complete with automation and tracking of all our taxi vehicles. This allows you to know where your taxi is and how much time you have to wait. Our fleet contains over 85 modern vehicles and you can even text our drivers, manage reservations and pay by card with ease.

Our Quick Quote page is designed to give you an indication of our fixed prices from the local area in a clear and simple way. If you can not find your pickup area or destination in the dropdown, then please use the chat bubble.
Please note - If you are making/editing or cancelling a booking with a pickup/drop off over 20 miles away from our base then please give 48 hours notice. People carriers and minibuses are subject to availability. When we cannot accommodate your multi person vehicle request, we will send 2 cars instead.
We are now recruiting smartly presented and self-motivated individuals to join our busy fleet in the Blackpool and Fylde boroughs. Positions are available for drivers who currently hold either a Fylde Borough Hackney and/or Private Hire Badge or a Blackpool Council Private Hire Badge. If you don't currently have a 'Taxi' Badge we can provide you with a starter pack with all the information needed.

Great service and their mobile app is really impressive. Quick and intuitive to use. Gives you an estimate cost before booking and you can pay by card or Google, Android or Apple Pay. And you get alerts when your cab has arrived and emailed receipt after. Which is great for when I claim expensive from my company. Would recommend and will always book this way. Thanks Pete

Ordered a taxi with Whiteside taxis while on holiday, in the local area the call centre staff were excellent and very informative and advised I pre booked my taxis to make sure there prompt. Drivers are well dressed and cars are very clean also very friendly and and use the best route to keep costs down and get you to your destination efficiently. I would highly suggest this company to anybody. If your wanting a professional taxi service Whiteside taxis is the way to go! Airport transfers also are easy to book using the online web booker. They picked us up and took us back. With no issues, 5⭐️

We booked during the day for pick-up later in the day and agreed everything. Called them 15 mins prior to being picked up, to confirm and check ETA only to be told they couldn't honour the booking as they were busy and didn't have enough vehicles. Although apologetic (hence 2 stars and not 1) it meant we missed our dinner reservation. Really unfair that they accepted a booking, didn't show and ruined our evening. We've never had this problem with C-Cabs or other Blackpool taxis and we will never use Whiteside again, I suggest you don't trust them either, especially if its for something important

I have to say, a really great local service. Ladies in the Call Centre are friendly and knowledgeable, drivers are smart, helpful and arrive on time, and their cars are immaculately clean. Would definitely use again and recommend. Love all the covid-safe levels of protection they have in place for passengers and drivers....feel really well looked after each time. Stephen.
