Furnished in a contemporary style, this first floor, rear facing room is the perfect place to relax, benefiting from a spacious en-suite shower room. Room 1 at Burleigh House comes complete with a TV with DVD, large fluffy bath towels, a hairdryer, toiletries, mineral water, radio/clock alarm, high speed kettle, USB charging sockets and a well stocked complimentary beverage tray, using Fair Trade products where possible.
All our breakfasts are cooked to order in-house (using local produce where possible) and served on separate tables in the dining room from 8:15am until 9:00am. Early breakfast can be arranged with advanced notice. Unfortunately we do not cater for evening meals but can recommend and book numerous restaurants right on our doorstep.

Bed and Breakfast hotels rely on the proprietors Chris and Jules were fabulous, made us feel very welcome. Breakfasts were anything you wanted within reason . Room was spacious and comfortable. We chatted most days about where we were going and listened to their recommendations. We will be happy to return. Thank you.

Second time we have stayed at the Burleigh guest house . Lovely guest house few minutes walk from seafront. Love all the little extras in the bedrooms. Ie ponchos. Ear plugs just in case the seagulls annoy you.… Marshmallow for your hot chocolate. Love hearts. Etc. Last time we had front corner room. This time we chose a smaller room facing the orme as we were only staying the one night. Breakfast hopefully as good as last time. Owners lovely.

Absolutely fantastic guest house with the most accommodating and friendly couple there is. Had an amazing weekend with amazing weather and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for Jules and Steve, breakfast was perfect with lots of choice, and during an unexpected event, Julie was extremely understanding and helpful. Room had everything we needed and the whole place was absolutely spotless with some lovely little finishing touches. Cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks Julie and Steve xx

Attention to detail was the best we have had in any establishment. Hosts were also excellent and nothing was to much trouble. We stayed in room 1. It was good but not amazing. The room is a good size and the bed is comfy. Little things that could be improved included the shower that would sometimes switch over to cold mid way through your shower and the lack of double glazing to keep out unwanted noise. We enjoyed our stay and would happily go back.
