From the initial meeting and quote from Peter to the the fortnight build with Pat and Nathan, I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Peter’s customer service was exemplary and Pat and Nathan worked in blistering heat for two solid weeks without complaint. Their attention to detail was a joy to see and it was the little things like sweeping up every day that stood out. It was the least we could do to keep them going with lots of bottles of water, lollipops and ice creams! If you want a competitively priced quote and an excellently finished build at the end, then we would say look no further

The installation of diamond lead wood effect plastic windows has transformed our home and work on the conservatory is almost finished. It is difficult to find anything more than what has already been said about this company. Peter, the owner, is honest and down to earth. He listens to what you say and he acts immediately should the slightest detail not be right. The quality of the products he uses are first class and his team of fitters ensure that this quality is reflected in the work they do. Having your home disrupted by workmen is not good, but the team from Tarka were courteous and thoughtful

We have a 30's house that needed replacement windows and doors, cladding & guttering. We found that getting sensible quotes from window companies was easier said than done as the work was quite challenging. Peter was really straightforward to deal with and grasped what we were trying to do and helped with creative and sensible ideas, displaying a great deal of interest in the project.

Tarka Home improvements have carried out lots of work for me over a few years and I've always been more than pleased with the work. I once noticed a small scratch on a new window and they came and replaced the pane….no problem. In my new property they have replaced windows, installed a new front door and a garage door, all with excellent results.
