John Wales Removals and Storage is a family run business, operating from Melksham, Wiltshire. Our office is based in Bowerhill, but we keep our vehicles and have our storage facilities on Leafield Industrial Estate in Corsham. Our range also includes all the smaller communities in between these areas.
Generally people are only moving locally but we are happy to take them anywhere within the UK. We also have service partners who can help you move within Europe or further afield such as Australia. The business was established in 1981 and was run by John Wales until his retirement in 2003.

Home Removal Company Wiltshire - Whenever you are moving house it is always best to invite the removal company of your choice to your present property. This allows us to find out your requirements before the move. Removals Wiltshire - As well as offering a removal service, we also offer storage and packing solutions.
We can do as much or as little as you require for your removals in Melksham or around Wiltshire. We cover all surrounding areas such as Hilperton, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Calne, Broughton Gifford, Bradford On Avon, Atworth and Seend. We work to suit your budget, but you will need to help yourselves before the home removal takes place.
When our Wiltshire packing service is chosen by our customer, we generally send our teams in the day before you move out, to complete this service, depending on the size of the move. You can leave your property as it is and we will pack everything as we see it. It's always best to tidy up & clear out any unwanted items in cupboards and drawers before we arrive or these items just get packed and move to your new property.
Another option for you is a non-packing service where, if you choose to pack your own belongings, we can provide you with the materials to undertake this. During our assessment to provide you with a quotation, we work out approximately how many boxes are required and will offer our advice on how packing should be done.
Our moving consultant will assess your move and requirements and working together we will devise a plan of operation to suit your budget and needs. We can work in or out of business hours. Moves can be as small as moving a filing cabinet to a whole company or site. Packaging can be bought if you are moving DIY style.

We have recently moved and used John Wales removals which was a truly excellent experience from beginning to end. We went for the full pack service and they really did go the extra mile and took a lot of the stress out of the move. Wayne was great to communicate with and we felt in safe hands throughout the whole journey! We recently (4 January 2019) used John Wales Removals to move our furniture from Bromham to Bowerhill. (in Wiltshire) They were recommended to us by a friend and we are grateful for that recommendation as they proved to be outstanding.
Wayne and his team of 4 arrived promptly at the stated time and we were most impressed with the degree of care taken in protecting our possessions as well as their efficiency in getting everything into one large pantechnicon.

We used John Wales removals for our recent move from Trowbridge to Swindon and they did an excellent job. Wayne provided us with more than enough boxes and was on hand for any advice.
