Services
Vasanti has been with us for 13 years now and is a resource of knowledge for all things production orientated. Her role has seen her take on many tasks from initial PCB assembly and soldering through to product testing and inspection. Vasanti is key for ensuring all items are booked in and out of stock and the picking and packing of customers orders.
Our circuit boards are designed in-house, manufactured locally and populated with surface mount components. This reduces the strain placed on the connections on the board by the weight of the components, creating a more robust product with a longer service life. All of our products are specifically designed with the unique stresses of forklift applications in mind, not adapted from other purposes to suit.
Our Managing Director, Steve Coley, was already a time-served and experienced engineer when he came up with the original idea for what was later to become the first generation 'Gear Savure'. While working on an entirely different problem for a customer, he discovered that they were also having regular issues with operators 'hot-shifting' and causing damage to the transmissions on their forklift fleet.
Provided by our partner ID Systems, the OC53 utilises the same housing as the popular OC55 model but has been fitted with Bluetooth communication. It provides real-time information about the fleet, assisting logistics professionals with managing their operations more effectively. Drivers can log in via a manual key code (4 digits), or an RFID fob.
