Triangle Driver Training was founded by Michael Kay, who has over 30 years experience in Driver Training, Transport Management and Motor Vehicle Technology, gained while working within 'Blue Chip Organisations' in both the private and public sectors. Michael is a Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, Approved Driving Instructor, CRB checked, and undertakes regular CPD training to maintain the highest standards of driving tuition excellence.
Prices are the same irrespective of whether lessons are taken in instructor car or your own vehicle. The pupil certifies that a valid suitable licence is held to drive the tuition vehicle. Pupils must inform their instructor immediately if they receive any endorsements on their licence, or if there are changes affecting their entitlement/ability to drive during the period they are receiving tuition.
Excellent service, me and about 6 other friends all passed first time thanks to the high quality of teaching. Highly recommend it. My daughter Molly had her driving lessons with Mick. His advice was always spot on and she found the whole experience of learning to drive a real pleasure. He is calm and very supportive as well as having a laugh!

The service provided by Mick at Triangle Driver Training is nothing short of top tier. The way he approaches training you to drive is calm and patient and he adapts the lessons to your personal progression fairly and in good pace.
He's such a friendly person and you never feel judged or under pressure when being taught by him. He's a really good teacher and I'd highly recommend him for anyone learning to drive

Mick is a fantastic driving instructor. I was really nervous to start learning again after a 10 year break and a questionable previous instructor. Mick got the perfect balance of ensuring I pushed and believed in myself with going at a pace I was comfortable with. Mick's patience, professionalism and friendliness is exemplary. He tailors the lesson to you, and will take you though every single step from beginning to end. AMAZING instructor. I started learning to drive with Mick a year ago, from day one i always said i wanted to achieve zero driving faults. Not ony did Mick support my goal fully, but he gave me the skill set and confidence to actually go and achieve it on my first time. Mick is very personable which made me feel very comfortable to progress in my driving. I would 100% recommend Mick to anyone who is looking for an instructor to learn with.

Would gladly recommend Mick to anyone wanting to learn how to drive! He made everything clear and provided easy instructions to follow within the first few lessons. Driving did not come naturally to me and I was very worried about starting to learn to drive. However Mick was really patient and kind, he was very knowledgeable and he explained things to me really clearly. He very reassuring and I actually loved the experience as a result!
