Our machines are in use all over the world, all designed and manufactured at our base in Maryport, Cumbria in North West England. Current projects include the design and manufacture of highly-efficient electricity generating waterwheels and the development of innovative, new tidal power technology.

Services
The company was founded by Managing Director, Rod Smith in 1979. He has over 55 years experience in technology development. He was a metallurgical chemist in laboratories at the Moss Bay Steelworks from 1961 to 1970 and worked in R&D at the UK Atomic Energy Authority, Sellafield for 5 years before joining Leyland Bus in 1974 as Materials Engineer, solving technical problems at UK contractors.

Ideas cost nothing, they are given to you for free (it's the time taken to manufacture and bring the product to market that costs the money). Our designers use PTC Creo 5 CAD software to produce an image of the new product for customer review. The design is then developed to a manufacture stage (materials selection, section etc).
