Services
With over 20 years experience in general practice, we can offer a full range of taxation services, these include. We offer all our clients full tax insurance cover for very modest premiums. This covers the full cost of representation at any HMRC visit or enquiry. This peace of mind is often very popular, and has proved to help de-stress client concerns over a potential enquiries.
Many clients have felt daunted by the ongoing issues of bookkeeping VAT and payroll ('I'm an engineer not a tax collector', is not an uncommon thought). So at Laytons we offer genuine, well priced support. Particularly since the introduction of RTI in 2013, many clients are not wanting to administer their own payrolls, and in many cases the cost of the payroll software itself is more than Laytons would charge for running the payroll.
We work to fixed fees (with no taxi meter running); agreed in advance and frequently paid by standing order. Some practices edge prices up every year just ahead of the rate of inflation until the fees become excessive and we have been able to significantly reduce these. Why not contact us for a payroll or VAT price list; or a non obligation meeting and quotation using any of our contact details.
From time to time we do have opportunities at Laytons, so why not forward your CV to be held on file should a vacancy arise. Accounts Semi Seniors: AAT qualified with a minimum of 5 years general practice experience. Accounts Assistants: Recently qualified AAT accountants preferably with some general practice experience.

Such great service from Rob that I would recommend Laytons to anyone. I've been with Layton's for over 17 years though multiple business iterations and Rob and his team have always been very supportive, responsive, professional as well as fun to deal with! (I know, accountancy isn't usually fun! But I genuinely look forward to my annual meeting with Rob)
