Not many people can honestly say they enjoy going to the dentists, but we certainly aim to make your time with us a positive experience.
This covers an examination, diagnosis (including x-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if needed, and application of fluoride. We are passionate about our young patients at Almondsbury encouraging them to attend with their parents or guardians from a very young age. Our staff are well trained when it comes to meeting our young patients many of them being.
E-max and Zirconia are ceramic restorations which are tooth coloured and can help fix teeth which are: Discoloured or stained Crooked Chipped or cracked Decayed Misshapen E-MAX E-Max are more durable and have a translucent appearance which can be matched. A dental implant is used to replace a missing tooth or teeth and can also be used to support a denture.
When you contact our practice, we will always try to offer you an appointment as soon as possible and at a time convenient for you. You may book an appointment in person, by telephone or make a request via email (stating any times or dates to aim for/avoid). Do please be on time for your appointment so that we don't have to keep other patients waiting.

I have been going to this dentist from a child, always extremely pleased with the service and treatment, great with my kids also.
The issue is with booking appointments and getting through to anyone is below par.
The organisation throughout the pandemic has been a shambles, with my appointments cancelled last minute on numerous and consecutive occasions.
Arranging with schools for kids to get them out to be seen and then cancelled 3 hours before is poor.
It is understood things happen, but to rebook for 2 - 3 months later for an almost identical situation to occur just highlights staffing issues

I have been going to this dentist for many years and seeing Bart, who is an excellent dentist and always very punctual too. Sorry he has left the practice. Trying to get through on the phone to book an appointment is not easy though, it's either engaged or has a recorded message telling you to ring back later, otherwise easily worth 5 stars.

ETA; Elizabeth Hill your attitude stinks. I've not given incorrect info at all I've given a truthful review of my experience.
Terrible service. My check ups were once a year, told to book appt yourself near the time. No reminder, and working full time very hard/near impossible to contact them to book. Eventually got through on the phone during my lunch to be told I've been thrown off the books for not attending in time, even though I wasn't made aware. Worst dentist ever.

My dentist there is Monica she is the best she puts me at ease everytime I go in I'm still scared of going to the dentist because I got butchered by one I will not say which dentist practice that is but Monica knows I am scared of the dentist and puts me at ease everytime I go in and let me know step by step on what she will be doing it's a shame it's only five stars because I would give her a 10 I still don't like going to the dentist but I only go because Monica is there thank you Monica you are the best

Quite a poor approach to patient service.
It took months on a waiting list to get an appointment, then I was told I could only be seen on a Tuesday because that’s the only day my dentist works. I asked could I not be seen by another dentist, the answer was no.
I asked could I change to a dentist who works more frequently, the answer was “umm well you can but there needs to be a good reason and you need to put it in writing to us”. Apparently 1 day a week appointments isn’t a good enough reason.
Called for an emergency appointment, my dentist wasn’t working so had to wait until they

Dental and Hygiene services are fantastic, but getting an appointment is next to impossible solely because they don't answer their phones or their lines are always engaged. It would benefit them and their patients greatly if they could figure out an online appointment service or at a minimum do the courtesy of returning calls. I've been trying to reach them for 4 months and when you work, its just not practical. Highly annoying!!
