We initially performed an Electrical Installation Condition Report on the fixed electrical wiring at the school in the February half-term holidays, noting defects and improvements that were needed.
Hawkins Electrical was asked to look into 4 x high-level lights (400W Metal Halide low-bay fittings) that were not working in the main showroom. We quoted to replace the fittings like for like and we also offered an alternative price to convert all the lights over to accommodate LED lamps.
The manager could see the long-term benefits of the electrical upgrade and decided to go ahead with converting all 12 fittings, and installing 100W LED Corn Lamps with a nominal lifespan of 30,000 hours.This change will reduce the energy consumption of the lighting by 75%. Our LED lighting services are available for home and business owners across Southend, Basildon and Essex.

In the report, we highlighted faulty wiring, damaged accessories, no RCD protection to various circuits and other faults/defects. Hawkins Electrical Contractors were engaged to complete the necessary works in order to give a 'satisfactory' assessment. These works included renewing distribution boards and installing sub-distribution boards to allow for RCD protection to the relevant circuits as the existing boards are now obsolete.

SUPERB COMPANY .......HAWKINS ELECTRICAL SERVICES......
Chris came to look at the dodgy work of a previous electrician and was able to not only put the work right but simplified the wiring leaving minimal mess.
Very clean and professional work and kept us informed of all his findings and work if required.
Chris explained to us any work he was going to do and the overall invoice was very competitive.
wouldn't use any other firm now...
