When it comes to picking our staff we look for their passion for childcare and their caring nature. Here at Jacqueline's Gems we offer high quality care for each individual child making sure all wants and needs are met. Jacqueline's Gems has a standard which is maintained throughout our settings and this is apparent from the first interview.
Jacqueline's Gems was started back in 1997 where the owner stood as a childminder before creating with passion and love an outstanding business which is continuing to grow. Here at Jacqueline's Gems we aim to care and protect your children in our home from home environments and work closely with our parents to make the best future for our children.
For our curriculum we follow the Government's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework which sets the standards for the care, learning and development for children from birth up to 5 years of age. The EYFS is based on play within the nursery setting, allowing children to development, learn and explore in a safe and secure yet challenging environment.
The menu's are also available to view within the nurseries. Any children with severe allergies should be provided with a care plan and any children with specific dietary requirements should be told to the nursery and both will have their meals will adapted to their requirements. No matter our age what we eat plays a role on our health.
Highly recommend this nursery, love the staff working there, Since joining the Nursery my daughter has developed in so many ways. She is more confident and balanced and looks forward to going into nursery everyday. No other nursery will ever be a good as this one 2 of my grandchildren have been here and this last few weeks has really opened my eyes incredible.

The best thing is the variety of activities both on site and off site they do with the children. As a working parent you know they are still going out to the community and learning, not only educational things, but life skills and about nature and the environment. The always come out smiling and have a great time.

J. Gems is an amazing childcare provider. They provided a professional, caring after school service for my daughter from reception until year 6. We always found them warm and loving where children bonded quickly and easily. Always flexible and available at short notice. We would highly recommend J.Gems and were lucky to find them.

My son was in the safe, reliable and clean hands of Jacqueline’s Gems from 11 months to almost 4 yrs old. My daughter currently attends the Stelling Road setting. Never at any time have they failed to impress. Such an encouraging team - my daughter has speech issues and has thrived ever since starting. They are accommodating when you need it at short notice and are always happy to help. Great communication skills, a professional company that I recommend to anyone looking for childcare.
