Services
Edinburgh Gardeners are a nice, friendly bunch of highly skilled landscapers and horticulturalists that are as reliable as daffodils in Spring. We provide high quality landscaping, gardening and tree surgery services in Edinburgh and the Lothians. Alan is very thorough and knowledgeable with the garden.
We safely ascend trees and shrubs, with harnesses and ropes where necessary. Careful pruning is beneficial to optimise health. We use chainsaws, hedge trimmers, loppers and secateurs and sometimes spirit levels to obtain the perfect result every time. We can reduce the height and width of even well overgrown Leylandii, or repair a badly damaged one with extensive die back.
Edinburgh Gardeners can ascend and prune or remove any tree from a small apple tree in a back garden to a huge veteran tree in a park. All our experienced staff at Edinburgh Tree Surgeons are fully qualified and fully insured for these operations. We specialise in carrying out tree operations in small private gardens where space can be limited and there are multiple obstacles underneath.
Problem plants can cause damage to your property, and cause problems when trying to sell your home, they are often easy enough to remove, call us for advice. Ivy can grow into cracks in walls, into lead flashing and guttering leading to expensive repairs. It is usually simple enough to remove with a long enough ladder but where rope access is necessary we can reach awkward spots.
The prestigious Prestonfield Hotel contracted us to install a herbaceous border with pinnacles and also a tree-lined avenue with pinnacles. The border was planted up with herbaceous perennials shortly after this display of tulips finished. The green pinnacles were planted up with Buxus sempervirens pyramids.
