Pens Report

Pens are easy to find. They lie on counter tops, inside pockets and handbags, tucked into car cubby holes and in man drawers. We pick them up in supermarkets and stationers or just borrow as we need. Mobile phones allow us to type our words into texts, posts, memes, blogs and even email but are they as meaningful, as weighty?

Found this gem of a shop whilst on holiday. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. A wonderful range of interesting pen inks and affordable but quality fountain pens. It was such a treat to shop there. Wish it was closer to home!

The new owner, Julie, is doing a wonderful job! The shop looks fabulous and the selection of pens is wonderful! Lovely fountain pens to choose from. They also print stationery, office stationery, posters, leaflets and even tickets for raffles etc! It's a small, quirky shop and they have a wide range of gorgeous notebooks, diaries and journals too! Perfect.

I worked at G H Knight for several years on Saturday mornings and during the summer holidays, whilst at school, earning a bit of pocket money. This was around 35 yrs ago and was with Mr Knight who greatly supported my interest in Graphic Design. Fond memories of helping out there. Nice to see its still going strong and trading under the original name. All the best to the new owners. I'll have to pop in sometime and say hello.

So lovely to see the evolution of Knights as a stationery and print shop. The new owner is really friendly and helpful and has introduced lots of new items including some unusual and striking pens, paper and notebooks. I particularly liked the amazing selection of inks in so many wonderful colours. No need to write in black again! Good luck and I look forward to my next visit
